تمہاری منزل یہیں کہیں ہے - شاذ بٹ


عزیز ساتھی وہ لمحہ پا کر 
ضرور اپنا حساب کرنا 
کیا ہے کیا تم نے 
صبح نو کی نمو کی خاطر 
 ہیں کتنے اب تک قدم بڑھائے
تم اپنی کتنی حَسِین سوچوں کو 
عمل کے سانچے میں ڈھال پا
فضا میں تاریکی گر ہو گہری 
طویل تر گر سفر ہو اپنا 
یہ دو قدم تو بہت ہی کم ہیں 
وہ سوز پنہاں وہ چند قطرے 
ندامتوں کی تہوں سے بہہ کر 
اگر تمہارے عارض پہ پھیل جائیں 
اور بارش میں رک رک کر 
چبھتے جائیں 
تو یہ سمجھنا کے 
دِل کے جذبے جوان ہیں اب بھی 
یقین کے دھارے جوان ہیں اب بھی 
عزیز ساتھی 
ارادے باندھو ، عمل میں ڈھالو
فضا میں تاریکی بڑھ گئی ہے 
سحر کی روشن جبیں کی خاطر 
تم عزم صادق سے کام لے کر 
تم اپنے خالق کا نام لے کر 
حَسِین جذبوں کی جدتوں سے 
سکوت محفل کو سوز دے دو 
تمہیں یہ دنیا سنوارنی ہے 
فضائے گلشن نکھارنی ہے 
ہیں اپنے جھنڈے بلند کرنے 
صداقتوں کے ہیں رنگ بھرنے 
وقارانسان کو ہے بڑھانا 
ہر اک قدم پر دیے جلانا 
اجالے کہیں دور تو نہیں ہیں 
تمہاری منزل یہیں کہیں ہے

Ramadan Notes: by Team A Lead

“When Ramadan enters, the gates of paradise are opened and gates of hell are closed”.
Suggestions for improving religious & spiritual experience this Ramadan.

Ø       Community
·         Organizing a Halaqa on regular basis for reflecting upon Quran.
·         Arranging a skype class for ladies who can’t come out.
·         Food distribution plans from community to give at mosques.
·         Organizing a community Iftar event.
·         Arrangements for Men congregation at level M2 black tower. 
·         Designing leaflets for spreading the exact information.
·         Car pooling and sharing for last odd nights of Ramadan.

Ø       Men
·         Prayers in Mosque
·         Mosque extension
·         Small gathering on Fridays for reflecting upon Quran.
·         Motivating them to set goals and achieve them

Ø       Females
·         Plan ahead: Menus, Recipes, daily schedule, weekly.
·         Prepare your own personalized dua list.
·         Start praying for a productive Ramadan.
·         Help organizing Community events
·         Avoid extravagance 
·         Strive for excellence

Ø       Family
·         Encourage kids to fast.
·         Reflecting together about real purpose of fasting.
·         Be Role model for kids
·         Planning on activity based on knowledge of Ramadan & Islam


 Eid Notes:  by Team B Lead

Suggestions for celebrating Eid in its real essence:

·         Organizing a Chand Raat event in party hall for henna, bangles, jewelry, clothes with a mutual contribution of effort, skills and resources from all the community members.
·         Encouraging each other to say loud Takbeerat starting from the moon sighting.
·         Sharing suggestions for decorating homes, building  and making decoration a fun based activity with participation of kids 
·         Organizing a community breakfast, dinner or lunch  along with pre-planning for the booking and details
·         Building a pool of gifts by collecting from community members to share it with other communities.
·         Encouraging kids to make Eid Cards
·         Booking Cinema for arranging a movie for kids
·         Pre-planning : creating information leaflets and coordinating with the community

Key Note Speech 
·         Appreciation of the effort by the members, time and over all event management.

9:71 The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practise regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise.
·         Six Rights of the believers
The rights of the Muslim upon the Muslim are six." It was said, "And what are they Oh Messenger of Allaah?" He replied, "When you meet him, give him the greeting of peace, when he invites you, respond to his invitation, when he seeks your advice, advise him, when he sneezes and praises Allaah, supplicate for mercy upon him, when he becomes ills, visit him, and when he dies follow him (i.e. his funeral)."
·         If something greater is to be achieved then each and every member would have to come forward and present his contribution that may be in the form of skills, volunteering time, resources and ideas.
